The Cabinet Secretary for Brexit gives me his uncompromising thoughts on how Westminster is handling Brexit and the attitude of some MPs towards Scotland and the Devolution Settlement. Mr Russell talks about the importance of immigration to counteract the fall in the working age population in the Highlands and Islands.

Nicola Sturgeon, First Minister of Scotland hosts the Scottish Cabinet public question and answer meeting in the Community Theatre at Arran High School. The entire Scottish Cabinet field questions from 250 local residents and school pupils.
Access to affordable housing is a huge concern on Arran. The Arran Economic Group acknowledges that a shortage of affordable housing keeps some island businesses back as they can’t easily find and keep staff. There appears to be plan, though.
